Pizza prosciutto e funghi? Pizza Quattro stagioni? Fish soup? Or rather a plate of pork specialties from a freshly slaughtered pig?
FastKunst® is what the two Swiss artists Paul Lipp and Reto Leuthold, who have worked together as Lipp&Leuthold since their training in Luzerne, call their joint project.
Since 2002 they have toured Switzerland and neighbouring countries als “Kunstimbisswagenbesitzer” (“artfastfoodstandowners”) . At vernissages and openings of art exhibitions they offer their fast paintings to potential buyers at moderate prices. Having arrived at the location, they park their fast art stand near the building where the exhibition takes place in order to offer their tasty painting specialties to interested visitors. In a matter of 15 minutes the desired art menu is captured in oil on wood, wrapped up while still fresh and handed over to the customer.
On August 24 and 25 the visitors of the Kunstvereinsheim will have the opportunity to experience Lipp&Leuthold with their artfastfoodstand and acquire a fresh work of fast art.
In addition, the artists also offer their work online at: http://fastkunst.twoday.net/topics/Onlineshop/
