"WO-HER-HIN-WO"

Photography

“Always on the way. From bed to work and back. And everything in between. On foot, driving, flying, or thinking. A walk or breathless. On the way,” this is what Egbert Zinner of Hamburg says about his work. Numerous photographs of various subjects with no recognizable system to them adorn the walls of the Kunstvereinsheim; this is what shapes the main idea of his work on the topic of this restless “always being on the way.” The music of Johann Sebastian Bach, Steve Reich and Johannes Heil provide an acoustic equivalent.

Egbert Zinner, born in Schalkau/Thuringia in 1959, lives and works in Hamburg.
